Hi! my name is Veronica Orozco and I'm the proud owner of Lather Lounge Barbershop.

We’ve been open since August 1st of 2020, at this time Covid had just allowed barbers to come back to work and businesses were allowed to open their doors once again.

My vision was to create a high quality professional environment that is family friendly but also include very talented and experienced barbers to create a reputation for high quality haircuts and excellent customer service.

For that reason we are very particular in whom we hire. Employees must be very well experienced in the industry along with being an overall great person.

Starting this business was the most difficult decision, knowing it was going to be hard work and a lot of stress that came. So I had to really dig deep into what it was that I wanted and make sure I knew what I was signing up for.

The day I made the decision, I remember going back and forth debating on it. And I called my mother, just to talk to her. She begins to tell me a story I had never heard:

She’s 25 yrs old living in Mexico with my sister (2 years old) and me (3 months old) and she says to me my only goal was to give y’all a better life. She didn't know how or when but she was going to bring us to the United States and give us a better life.

And she did just that ... So I'm listening thinking to myself

How can I just stop this dream right here?

How selfish of me to say no to this great opportunity just because I'm "scared of hard work". So I did it!

Despite the craziness and uncertainty of 2020, I opened Lather Lounge with faith and determination and I pray every client that walks in loves this place as much as we do!
